About Doxa Deo Community Church London

Doxa Deo Community Church, along with all the other campuses in the Doxa Deo family, dreams about a City and its communities transformed into a place where God reigns. At Doxa Deo Community Church we believe that every person is called to be a City Changer, and to make a real difference in our strategic city.

We see our city in eight different spheres, namely Church, Media, Arts, Education, Sports, Social Services, Business and Government. All ministry in Doxa Deo Cmmunity Church (Sunday Celebrations, City Changer Life Groups and other ministry) is designed to provide the platform for our partners to be fully equipped in becoming a City Changer in his or her own sphere of influence.
Doxa Deo Community Church currently has two expressions in London; the London Boroughs of Merton (Wimbledon) and Kingston Upon Thames (Surbiton). Our vision is to see the dream of community transformation roll out in other Boroughs of our city.

Also now planting in Oslo, Norway. There are further strategic connections with Kingdom Partners that share the same dream in many other cities globally.
Doxa Deo goes beyond having church on a Sunday to serving our cities in such a way, that we are seeing the establishing of the Lordship of Christ in every area of society. In Doxa Deo people are not only concerned for the state of their cities; they take responsibility for their cities. In short, we are serving our cities into the Kingdom!

Pioneer Network of Churches, UK

Pioneer is a UK based ‘apostolic’ movement of churches and ministries founded in the mid-80s. The Network is currently led by Billy and Caroline Kennedy. Billy leads New Community Church in Southampton and is also a President of The Churches Together in England. Alongside others in the network, there is a co-commitment to the re-evangelisation of our nation and to see the Kingdom of God expressed in every sphere of society and culture.
Pioneer is served by a number of Apostolic Resource Communities – Hubs – which either identify with a geographic region, relational connection or cultural distinctive.
Doxa Deo Community Church relates to the Pioneer London Hub. Ioannis and Cheray are both part of the Core Apostolic Team that leads the Pioneer London Hub.
Pioneer is also a Kingdom Partner with Doxa Deo & City Changers Movement.

What We Believe

1. The one true God who lives eternally in three persons — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

2. The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.

3. The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God—fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.

4. The dignity of all people, made male and female in God’s image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgement.

5. The incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ — born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.

6. The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God.

7. The bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; his ascension to the Father, and his reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.

8. The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ.

9. The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.

10. The Church, the body of Christ both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers — given life by the Spirit and endowed with the Spirit’s gifts to worship God and proclaim the gospel, promoting justice and love.

11. The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgement, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.
